FedGrantHub Terms of Service

1. Customer authority and organizational accounts

The Service is offered to governmental entities and other organizations acting for business or institutional purposes, not for personal, family, or household use. The person accepting these Terms represents that the person is authorized to bind the Customer. If the Customer is a governmental entity, acceptance is subject to applicable law and the authority legally available to that entity and its representative.

Each Customer has one shared organizational account, profile, and subscription. Organization Administrators may manage membership, roles, organizational priorities, billing access, and other settings. Members may use the features made available to their role. Customer is responsible for choosing administrators, maintaining accurate account information, promptly removing unauthorized users, and safeguarding credentials.

2. The Service

FedGrantHub helps local governments and authorized organizations find, evaluate, monitor, and plan for federal funding. Depending on the subscribed features and current product configuration, the Service may provide searchable funding opportunities, deadlines, source-linked developments, evidence classifications, preliminary eligibility information, shared organizational relevance, briefings, alerts, and administrative tools.

The Service does not write grant applications, submit applications to Grants.gov, maintain a project inventory, provide post-award grant administration, act as a fiscal agent, or represent Customer before any agency unless a separate signed agreement expressly says otherwise.

We may improve, replace, or discontinue nonmaterial features. We will provide reasonable advance notice when a material reduction in paid functionality is expected to affect Customer, unless immediate action is necessary for security, legal compliance, provider failure, or protection of the Service.

3. Federal-funding information and evidence

FedGrantHub is an independent private company. It is not a federal, state, or local government agency and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Grants.gov or any funding agency. The Service is an information and decision-support tool, not an official source of agency action.

Official notices, statutes, regulations, agency guidance, notices of funding opportunity, and other controlling primary materials govern. Customer must review the linked controlling source and obtain appropriate professional advice before acting. Evidence labels, relevance, urgency, preliminary eligibility, analysis, and recommendations are distinct fields and must not be treated as guarantees.

No content constitutes legal, accounting, tax, procurement, lobbying, engineering, financial, or grant-writing advice. FedGrantHub does not promise that Customer is eligible, that funds remain available, that an application will be accepted, or that an award will be made.

4. Subscriptions

The monthly plan is $99 per month. The annual plan is $999 paid in full for each year. Each plan is charged when purchased and automatically renews for the same billing period until canceled. Applicable taxes may be added. The Checkout screen and confirmation identify the selected plan, initial charge date, renewal interval, amount, and cancellation method.

Any limited evaluation period must be offered separately by FedGrantHub in writing. Its specific terms control that evaluation and do not create a generally available free-trial right.

The Subscription, Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms. If a signed order form or government contract expressly conflicts with these online Terms, the signed agreement controls for that Customer to the extent of the conflict.

5. Payment, taxes, and tax-exempt customers

Customer authorizes FedGrantHub and its payment processor, Stripe, to charge the payment method on file for subscription fees, applicable taxes, and other amounts expressly approved at purchase. Stripe processes payment credentials; FedGrantHub does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless Checkout says otherwise. Customer is responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information and for submitting valid exemption documentation. Stripe Tax or another provider may calculate and collect taxes, but FedGrantHub remains responsible for its own legal filing and remittance obligations. Customer remains responsible for taxes it must pay directly, excluding taxes based on FedGrantHub’s net income.

6. Renewal, cancellation, refunds, and failed payments

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. An Organization Administrator may cancel through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting support@fedgranthub.com. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally leaves access available through the end of the current paid period.

Payments are nonrefundable and unused time is not prorated, except where required by law, where a signed agreement provides otherwise, or where FedGrantHub determines that a duplicate charge or billing error occurred. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

If payment fails, FedGrantHub or Stripe may retry the payment and notify Customer. FedGrantHub provides a seven-day grace period after the first failed payment. Access may be suspended after that period and restored after payment. We may terminate an account if amounts remain unpaid, subject to applicable law and any controlling signed agreement.

We will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice before an annual renewal and reasonable advance notice of a price increase that would apply at a future renewal.

7. Acceptable use

Customer and its users may not use the Service unlawfully; interfere with security or availability; probe or bypass access controls; access another organization’s information; share credentials outside the authorized organization; upload malware; scrape the Service through unauthorized automated means; misrepresent FedGrantHub content as an official government determination; use the Service to discriminate unlawfully; or attempt to reverse engineer protected portions of the Service except where law expressly permits.

Customer may download and use information made available through its account for internal governmental or organizational purposes. Customer remains responsible for its own decisions, submissions, public statements, records management, procurement compliance, and use of source material.

8. Customer data and feedback

Customer retains its rights in information it provides to the Service (“Customer Data”). Customer grants FedGrantHub a limited, nonexclusive right to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and comply with law.

Customer represents that it has the rights and authority necessary to provide Customer Data. Customer should not submit classified information, export-controlled information, protected health information, payment-card data outside Stripe Checkout, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless FedGrantHub expressly supports that data under a signed agreement.

If Customer voluntarily provides suggestions or feedback, FedGrantHub may use them without restriction or payment, but will not identify Customer publicly without permission.

9. Confidentiality, public records, and government customers

Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other party’s nonpublic confidential information and will use it only for the relationship. Confidential information does not include information that is public without breach, already lawfully known, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source.

Government customers may be subject to public-records, open-meetings, procurement, retention, audit, and disclosure laws. Customer is responsible for informing FedGrantHub of special requirements before providing restricted information. Nothing in these Terms requires a governmental entity to waive sovereign immunity, accept an indemnity it cannot lawfully provide, or violate applicable public-records law. The parties will cooperate in good faith with lawful records requests and protective procedures.

10. Intellectual property

FedGrantHub and its licensors own the Service, software, designs, workflows, compilations, and original content, excluding Customer Data and third-party source material. Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, FedGrantHub grants Customer a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service during the subscription for its internal operations.

Federal and other public-source documents remain subject to their applicable legal status. Third-party names, marks, and linked materials belong to their owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials.

11. Third-party services

The Service depends on providers such as hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, and artificial-intelligence services. Their outages or changes may affect the Service. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience and evidence; FedGrantHub does not control their availability, accuracy, security, or policies.

Artificial-intelligence tools may assist with specifically enabled analysis. Their output is treated as analysis requiring evidence and controls, not as an official finding. FedGrantHub does not authorize publication or consequential action solely because an automated system produced a result.

12. Privacy and security

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the Service. No system is completely secure, and Customer must use reasonable account-security practices and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@fedgranthub.com.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, material breach, nonpayment, risk to another customer, provider requirement, or legal obligation. When practicable, we will notify Customer and provide an opportunity to cure. Customer may terminate by canceling its subscription and discontinuing use.

Provisions concerning payment obligations, ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FEDGRANTHUB DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. FEDGRANTHUB DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR FUNDING DECISION.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, FUNDING, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

EXCEPT FOR PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS, FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, EACH PARTY’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID OR PAYABLE BY CUSTOMER TO FEDGRANTHUB DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL CUSTOMER.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, Customer will defend and indemnify FedGrantHub from third-party claims arising from Customer Data, Customer’s unlawful use of the Service, or Customer’s material violation of these Terms. This section does not require a governmental entity to provide indemnification beyond its lawful authority or available appropriations. FedGrantHub remains responsible for claims arising from its own willful misconduct or violation of law.

17. Governing law and disputes

Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or another law that cannot be waived applies. Subject to any mandatory governmental claims procedure, the parties consent to the state courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and the applicable federal courts in the Middle District of Florida. Before filing suit, the parties will attempt in good faith for 30 days to resolve a dispute through written notice, unless immediate injunctive relief is reasonably necessary.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and identify its effective date. We will provide reasonable advance notice of a material change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes will not retroactively alter a prepaid subscription without Customer’s agreement, except where required by law or necessary for security.

19. General terms

Neither party may assign these Terms without the other party’s consent, except in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of substantially all relevant assets, or to an affiliate that assumes the obligations. Customer may not assign a governmental contract where applicable law prohibits it. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, incorporated policies, Checkout disclosures, and any controlling signed order form constitute the agreement concerning the Service. Electronic acceptance and notices are permitted where lawful.
